Macro–Black Ants Mimic Spider

This picture actually taken last year during Penang Butterfly Insect showcase last year at 2010. Found it at the entrance from the car park outside. Most people would assume this is a spider but actually it’s an Ants mimic spider species. I do not know what is the family name or scientific name coz I’m not an expert in this sort of stuff..lol.

Back to Butterfly Farm with my new macro lens the Tamron SP AF90mm for practice shoot and i’m still learning :). Butterfly Farm @ Teluk Bahang

Penang Butterfly Farm is open in public on March 1986, suppose to be the first Butterfly farm across the tropical region. Consist of 120 species of butterfly and insects, a must visit place when visiting Penang.


This is the main entrance of the Butterfly Farm park.
