Sunset at Hard Rock Hotel Penang, 2011
Due to the increase in demand for the Hitech range of filter products, particularly the new Pro Stop Range, we have been experiencing longer supply times over the last 6 weeks.
The manufacturing department was partially closed for two weeks in August while essential building work was carried out to expand our manufacturing capacity. We are now fully operational and are looking to complete all orders upto 12th August by next week. All other orders received will be completed and shipped by the end of September.
We hope our customers understand that we are working as hard a possible to reduce the delivery times and are aiming to resume normal delivery service by the end of September. Thank you for your patience.
Anyway since it’s already arrive, I won’t border to complain anymore because they really made good filter. I must say it is much better then Cokin filter in terms of color cast. In this picture I use 2 GND filters 0.6s and 0.9s to get slower exposure and increase the saturation on the back. I like how the foreground beaches and the colors the cloud reflect into the sea, and guess what, I got my first Magic Hour shot and I really satisfy with it. Not regretting anything for buying this awesome filter from Hitech.

Sunset’s at Pulau Aman Jetty 2011
It has been raining for weeks and there is no suns shining at all. Well today is my lucky day then, the sun finally out from the cloud and for this moment, I bring out my welding glass to try out. Well the result’s not bad at all in Black and White. If I try to turn it to original colors, it’s not so pretty. That’s because welding glass turns out is green in color when shot. So the best is convert it into BnW.
The picture above is shots in 25s /F5.6 with 200iso.

Macro - Yellow Orb Weaver Spider
It’s been more then 2 month the last time I went for macro shot. Well lucky I still able to get hang of it. I found this yellow orb weaver spider and a wasp grub is hanging on it’s abdomen sucking the nutrition out from it’s body. It will suck the spider fluid slowly for 2 weeks until it’s dead. Watch the video here posted by Orionmystery for how the wasp grub manage to survive.

Milky Way 2011, Penang
We when to another Milky Way shooting with the same group at the same place. Again a very lucky day for us, clear sky without moon. This time I try to put up some different perspective on my picture composition, in this photo I place my camera behind another camera. A Sony shooting Canon shooting Milky. Awesome huh lol.
I’ve shot the milky way with this composition before here but the foreground is pitch black. This time I’m using a torch light put up some light painting so I would get the foreground come to live. The flower pointing towards the milky is just so nice.
Before we when off, we take 1 portrait picture behind the milky. In this picture, we place an LED light behind the car to light up the car behind and we are using our hand phone to light up the front. This picture is taken with Canon 5D Mark II with 17-40 F4 L lens from mengsys. We are quite happy with the result we get this time. I will go there again someday with a time-lapse shot. Till see you again next time. Bye.
